Over twenty five years of experience in the exhibitory industry, the latter ten have been spent in the Northwest. My experience includes the designing and creating of artificial rock formations and environmental elements (such as trees, water features...) typically out of concrete. This process involves the welding of steel armatures, shooting it structurally with shotcrete, hand carving textures, and then super realistic painting.
For the past twenty or so years I have served Turnstone Construction as Lead Artist and Superintendent.
Prior employment included zoo, aquarium, and theme park work across the country and internationally.
State of Washington WABO certified structural welder.
Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Tech University with a major in Studio Arts.
